A question gets you talking.
The attention you give each other is the point.

Make your relationship a habit you enjoy

## Talk more openly.
Make time on purpose.
Show up for each other.

Small, intentional actions give you a way to put your relationship first in everyday life.

01 / Clearer communication

### Understand what’s on their mind.

Conversation decks give you a starting point. Take turns answering, ask a follow-up, and make space for what your partner actually wants to say.

02 / Quality time together

### Turn “we should” into time for us.

Work through a deck together and keep your shared streak going. Let it be a reason to pause, put other things aside, and give each other your attention.

03 / Everyday attention

### Help your partner feel thought of.

Share a moment from your day or design their widget with a photo and message. Make room for the little things you want them to know.

Try a conversation starter

## One good question.
Your full attention.

Ask your partner. Answer it yourself. Listen to the answer before thinking about what to say next. That’s a little time together you can start right now.

Relationship research, made practical

## A practical approach.
Informed by research.

Sharing openly, responding with care, and doing something together are established subjects of relationship research. They’re the ideas guiding what we’re building.

01

### Share. Listen. Understand.

Studies of everyday interactions link self-disclosure and feeling understood by a partner with greater intimacy.

[Laurenceau et al., 1998 ↗](https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/9599440/)

02

### Do something together.

Experiments found short-term improvements in reported relationship quality after couples tried a novel, engaging activity together.

[Aron et al., 2000 ↗](https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/10707334/)

03

### Notice the good things.

Research links sharing positive events and receiving an enthusiastic response with better relationship well-being.

[Gable et al., 2004 ↗](https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/15301629/)

These studies inform our approach. Happier Couple itself has not yet been tested in a clinical study.

A few things you might wonder

## A little clarity before you start.

What do we actually do in the app?

Go through conversation decks with your partner, keep a shared streak, save moments from your day, and design a photo or message widget for each other. The goal is more thoughtful conversations, intentional quality time, and attention for each other.

Is Happier Couple scientifically proven?

Our approach draws on research into sharing, responsiveness, and shared activities. That research supports the underlying practices; it does not prove that our app will improve every relationship. Happier Couple has not yet been clinically tested. [Read our approach and sources.](https://happiercouple.com/our-approach/)

Is the app available yet?

Happier Couple is coming soon to the App Store and Google Play. The store buttons will show a coming-soon message until downloads are available.

Is it for couples who live together or apart?

Both. The app is being built for partners who want to make more space for each other, whether that means a conversation on the sofa or a moment shared from different places.

Is this couples therapy?

No. Happier Couple is for everyday connection, conversations, and quality time. It is not a therapy or counseling service.

How much will it cost?

Pricing and what’s included will be published before launch.
